A strange single grave on Pa. WV line How a judge tried to cheat the Devil at his own game

We all know the story told in the song " The devil went down to Georgia"  By Charlie Daniels  

Well there appears to be a real life case involving   Judge John Reddick

 He  served from 1804 to1830 and had  his farmstead in Hanover Twp.

and was known for raising and racing the fastest horse's in the area.  So fast the devil indeed challenged him to a race.  His soul for a large amount of Gold

Judge Reddick supposedly  accepted and they meet at Midnight but every time the Judges horse pulled ahead . Satan's horse would blow flames at it.

Of course you know who won and when the judge dies his soul belonged to Satan .

Well being a judge and lawyer he figured out a loop hole to thwart Satan.

He would have his grave built exactly on the line with Virginia which then split and became WV  off Pa 168 .near Racoon State Park a few hundred yards  south off the road west to Kendall

You see there was a problem for Satan he would have to get an extradition agreement from both Pa. and WV to get the judges soul as the judge demanded

But when Satan would come with Pa papers from the court he would role to WV side of his grave so Satan could not get him. and do same role to WV side if  Satin came with WV court papers. 

So once the Statute of Limitations ran out with both states he was in fact untouchable by Satan.

Well as you can see his grave is on the line and by itself. But unfortunately many years later it was discovered the judge was indeed 10 ft into Pa. 

So did he really race the devil and make a deal ? did the devil get his soul?

Well when you pass in life you will have to ask him. For it could all be a made up  story by the judge.

Could be he just did not want  to be disturbed in the after life. 

 Either way it makes for an interesting story.

 As you ride thru Bellaire Ohio there are plenty of old and creepy  houses and buildings many abandoned so it does not surprise me that Kristen Lee has found a new location to Investigate.

Located at 2011 Belmont St.

 

Its called the Ross House and its over 127 years old  and located near where a Horrific Willow Grove  Coal Mine explosion  occurred in 1940 that  killed 72 men .

 The Ross house after being built in 1895 saw many owners over its time  until 90s when Charles  Ross Purchased the home and started renting it to various construction workers  none who stayed very long because of paranormal activity's within .

It soon developed a reputation for being haunted. 

In 2016 Charles daughter Cindy Kuhn and a business partner decided to open an Escape room and during the extensive remodel had all kinds of things go on . She did this despite warning from her father that the place was haunted which of course she thought he was telling tales .

This is when Cindy Called in Kristen Lee to help with the problem who brought in numerous experts  to help figure out what was going on.

A young mans Horrifying crimes which stopped haloween one year in bellare Ohio . The Night Satan came calling

 Kristen Lee Owner of The Bellaire House   who recently filmed and released the trailer for  the Movie " The Devil in Bellaire "

Is a true  crime story of a mentally disturbed and tortured young man  Nathan Brook who murdered his parents and whose crime was so horrific and shocking the town did not have haloween that year.

It was the evening of September 30th 1995 when 17 year old  Nathan Brook who seems to have been possessed by the devil himself after admiring himself as a disciple of Satan  snapped and brutally killed his parents chopping off his own fathers head  with a hacksaw after shooting him with a Hunting Riffle  in the head 3 times

He then placed his head in a Punch bowl like an offering to Satan  and killed his mother with both a knife stabbing  and  shot her with the riffle as well . After she had arrived the day before from a Florida Trip.

He did not get far before being captured by Sheriffs  in a close by home .

His brother 16 yr old Ryan discovered the body's when he arrived home the next morning 

 Considered bright and intelligent  Brook sits in London State Penitentiary and is not eligible for parole till 2038

With the finding of all kind of Satanic posters etc in Nathans Bedroom along with a potential list of 13 individuals targeted for death  with details of most horrific things to be done to them before hand 

Indeed it appears he was going to kill his brother that day but he went to local football game and stayed at a friends house that night

Halloween was cancelled in Bellaire in 95  out of fear a coven of Devil Worshipers had infiltrated the town and where working with Nathan  

This was a time when many high profile Devil Worshiping cases was going on in a case of mass hysteria
